Dear Riverside Rebels,
I would like to welcome you all back to RMHS for the 2020-21 school year. I hope you and your families are healthy and doing well during these unique and unprecedented times. I am excited for the opportunity to serve as RMHS principal for my 2nd year and our faculty is thrilled to welcome our students back to school. When we return, our students will have the opportunity to engage with their learning like never before. Whether it is traditional, in-person learning or joining classes through Canvas, they will continue to have the opportunity to grow with Big Horn School District #4.
Again, this year my main goals are to follow the path that our board, administration, staff and community laid out in strategic planning two years ago.
Continue the tremendous academic success we have had in learning and teaching that happens everyday in the classrooms at the middle and high school.
Continuing to improve on the lines of communication amongst all stakeholders within the school district.
Continue to build a positive culture where students can challenge themselves in a safe and caring environment.
While I'm excited to begin the new school year, I understand many, including myself, are concerned and anxious about what this year may bring with the many changes that are happening due to COVID-19. Although this year will be unique, the staff at RMHS are committed to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all students to excel in this year.
I look forward to seeing you all again and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share to make our school and community a better place.
